TSSC Kitchen & Laundry Equipment Trading LLC was established as Technical Supplies and Services Co. LLC in 1961, a trading company dealing in refrigeration parts and accessories.
In 1993 the company was acquired by Basil Bahar, who saw the need for a quality service provider for foodservice and laundry equipment in the local hospitality and catering market. In 1994 he founded a division with one purpose: industrial foodservice and laundry solutions for developers and operators.
Dubai's growth as a trading hub and tourist destination, together with a determination to give the best service, drove TSSC's rapid growth. In less than a decade it became the foremost provider of industrial kitchen and laundry solutions in Dubai.
Today TSSC is a one-stop partner, from the design of a facility to installation, operator training and after-sales service, for a client base that is the who's who of the region's foodservice and hospitality industry.

This starts with exceeding the customer's expectations and is maintained by continually doing so and establishing a close working relationship in the process.

Basil Bahar leads the Al Otaiba Group
Years as president of the group that shaped his view of the hospitality supply market.

Basil Bahar acquires TSSC
He saw the need for a quality service provider for foodservice and laundry equipment in the local hospitality and catering market.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club
Basil Bahar's first foodservice equipment project, for the landmark club that opened on Dubai Creek in 1993.

Foodservice & laundry division founded
A division dedicated to industrial kitchen and laundry solutions for developers and operators. The first exclusive agencies are signed (MEIKO, Hoshizaki).
1995
Al Bustan Rotana Hotel
Awarded in 1995 and completed in 1997: TSSC's first major hotel project. The hotel has since been rebranded as Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai.

Omar Bahar joins as an AutoCAD operator
Today he is TSSC's General Manager.

Nightjar Café inside one of Dubai's most recognisable new landmarks.

Back on level 122 for the restaurant TSSC first equipped in 2011.

My father started the company with the mission that we provide the best after-sales service in the market, and we invest a lot in after-sales service. We even take on maintenance contracts with people who bought equipment from our competitors, because that's how focused we are on service and maintenance. Our reaction time is very fast. It could be nine o'clock on a Friday night, there's a breakdown in a dishwasher, and we're going to be there to fix it. That's what makes us different to others.

Our engineers and technicians train at our key suppliers' facilities, so every installation meets the manufacturer's own standard.
One-year installation guarantee
Every installation is guaranteed for a year, on top of the manufacturer's warranty for the same period. Extended warranties on request.
